Rebuilt brand
A rebuilt brand means that the vehicle was previously branded as salvage and has been rebuilt according to the local state’s guidelines and passed the Department of Motor Vehicles inspection. The rebuilt brand is a permanent brand, but it should not affect the ability to register and insure the vehicle.

Note: SCA cannot guarantee that a state or country will allow a member to rebuild any and all vehicles branded as salvage or its equivalent. Always refer to the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles regulations before placing any bids on vehicles you are looking to rebuild.
