Why did I receive a title from a different state than what was listed in the vehicle's listing?

We cannot guarantee that you will receive a title certificate from the same state as was listed. In some cases, regional law requires the transfer of ownership documents to the state where the transfer of ownership happened. However, you will still receive an equivalent title certificate.
